Marketing Executive

You will be helping a sector leading business within the hospitality market, working with some of the world’s biggest brands deliver training technologies to improve customer experience.

Following its acquisition by CGA, CPL Online is looking for a Marketing Executive to support the next, exciting phase of business growth. 

We are looking for an ambitious and independent marketing professional with expertise in marketing strategy, thought leadership, digital marketing, and content management.

You’ll be responsible for the following:
• Implementing and helping to shape the marketing strategy for the business
• Consistent planning, reporting, measurement as set out by chief commercial officer
• Managing the day-to-day marketing activities
• Creating new marketing collateral for our product suite
• Meeting marketing objectives and creating best practices
• Working alongside internal design team to develop our brand
• Undertaking continuous analysis of competitive environment and market trends
• Helping to identify content marketing opportunities through thought leadership
• Working with our event partners to deliver a return on our investment

Events:
Managing CPL Online’s representation at industry leading events across the year

Content Management:
• Writing copy for social posts, thought leadership, promotion and the website
• Implement a digital sales strategy for our training courses, assessing viability of PPC and SEO
• Writing and pitching stories and thought leadership content to the print, broadcast, and online media; consistently and effectively tracking media coverage

Website Management:
• Improving online performance
• Working with commercial team to produce content for the website
• Updating and making website amends and maintaining performance.

Media:
• Implementing media plan
• Monitoring and reporting on performance and results

Social Media and Community Management:
• Social media management
• Curating social content and social plans
• Publishing and scheduling content across platforms
• Planning social media and digital plans
• Monitoring campaigns
• Optimising social performance and ensuring the brand is utilising best practice at all times
• Researching, exploring and investigating new platforms, trends and tech that can push the brand forwards

The ideal candidate:
• Passion for marketing communications and appreciation of the role of online training and the eating and drinking out market
• Exceptional writing skills and ability to write in different styles, adapting for audience and purpose
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Experience of creating content and managing commercial social media platforms
• Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe capability essential.
